Then he picked out a festive plate to put the cookies on...
Mama helped him organize the cookies in an alternating chewy/crispy cookie pattern...
Then, after sealing the cookies in plastic for freshness it was time to leave the cookies for Santa. Then Xander said that he learned from his "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" book that if you give Santa a cookie, he's probably going to want a glass of milk to go with it. There wasn't all that much left in the carton, only a single serving, so Xander asked if we could leave the carton out for Santa so he could take it as a "to-go" cup if he wanted. We obliged. Anything for Santa!
We made sure that Xander's personally made foot print ornament was out and well lit so Santa would remember who's house he was in as well.
Sometime after Xander went to bed, and without making a sound, Santa brought all these awesome gifts for Xander!
Mute tried to keep a lookout for Santa, but fell asleep under the tree! When she woke up, this is what she saw! Whoa!
Mute and Sark weren't much of a Santa warning system...
Before he woke up on Christmas morning, Mama set out a gift for Xander with all of his other gifts in shinny silver paper.
Then Mama and Dada set out each other's gifts and stuffed the kitties stockings with care!
Tick tock! We all can't wait for Christmas!!
