Tbirds, Kent, Suite, good times

Our friend and colleague Dave Oliphant from Pape Material Handling took us all to dinner at Fondi restaraunt at Kent Station (shout out). It was excellent. 6 pizzas, 4 salads and some drinks later and we were ready for the game. Jeremy and Samara joined us late for dinner. Selena, Jason, Mom, Dad, Amy, Anthony, Nicky D, Tay (BGT), Dave, his wife Adrienne and their son Estes made up everyone that was there.
The game was at the Showare center

in Kent. Cute little arena.

Estes loved hockey and was very entertaining.

The suite was great. It was huge and also had a tv so we could watch the playoffs. And the chocolate brownies were super tasty!

Jere dressed for the occasion, because when else will that jersey ever get worn?

Estes hugged everyone good bye.
10 minutes after the game was over, he was still hogging the crowd.
We lost 3-2 but it was fun and saw a great fight even though the Tbirds player got the you know what kicked out of him.

Mari-nerd

Well, Anthony loves the Mariners and checks Mariner blogs often. So on Saturday he went to an event at Benaroya Hall where 2 blogs hosted the Mariners front office. Above is the main host Dave Cameron from USS Mariner.
This is the lady with red hair that write on Section 331.

There were 565 people there. Tickets sold out in less then 6 hours and the event originally was to be at the library but after demand got so high, they moved it to a bigger venue.

This was the panel of bloggers.

Last Hawks game of the year, thank goodness

Well, at least its over. A season of diappointment ended with a resounding thud with another loss this time 17-13 to the Titans. There were some good plays throughout the game to cheer for, but the best part was before the game started. We had tickets with a customer in the 300 section and when walking by noticed that Ken Griffey Jr was by the 12th man flag.
Taima led the Seahawks out one last time....

And then they did the 12th man ceremony and the crowd got pretty loud pretty quickly.

Very cool. One of the 3 best 12th man ceremonies we have seen (Ichiro and Gary Payton were awesome too)!

As always, we were decked out in our Hawks gear.

These were the stats at the end of the 1st quarter. It was pathetic. But we came back and made a game of it.

There were a bunch of empty seats, not unexpected for a 5-10 team.

This is Michael who took us to the game.

Grr, claws out for Metnik.
Chris Johnson (RB in the back field) rushed for over 100 yards and eclipsed 2000 on the year. he had a sick 60+ yard run for a TD called back by a holding penalty. Too bad, cause it was slick.

Our favorite Christmas present

Lynn made the kittens these white pads for Christmas. And they love them so much. They sleep on them in the family room, our bedroom and the master bathroom.

They are very thankful and so are we....it catches a lot of their hair. Everyone wins.

Our 2nd favorite place

Not surprisingly, the kittens both love sitting right by the heat vent that is under the kitchen sink. It is very cute, but they are always in the way now!

Christmas 2009

Our first Christmas in the new house and our first Christmas with the kitties. Amy set the tree up in the bonus room. We kept the cats out except for Christmas morning. As you can see, Sark hid in and under the tree by the presents.
All 4 of us had stockings to start with.

Sark got to the stocking before we could help him get out his presents.

Mute enjoyed the whole process with Amy helping her take each toy out of the stocking. She got a fish... and a mouse. She hated the reindeer costume.....and all costumes we have ever put on her...
but we did it to her anyways.
Sark got the business too.
Sark liked the toys in the stocking. See the tail in my mouth? More on that in a sec.
He liked his new fish too (that is his favorite toy around the house).
Yep, this is Sark killing a toy....now you see the tail on the mouse, and then it was gone. Yep, he ate it.

See mouse without a tail.
Lynn and Norman bought them some toys too. This green mouse has been terrorized and torn up. And they got the long Giraffe print toy to hug and scratch at and the white pads to sit on. They are so spoiled.
Amy got a pair of gold earrings,
Anthony got new sunglasses and a personalized kick a$$ authentic Seahawks jersey.
Anthony also got gloves, because he wears them all the time and needs to match his outfits better.
Anthony also got some Tattoo Captain Morgan's rum and some deuce deuce's of his favorite beers.
Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas! Happy New Year!
