Awwwwwww

I can't take seeing that crazy truck driver every time I view our blog anymore, so until there is some more time to make a real post, I had to replace that first image with something much more soothing...

Awwww!!!

My friggin car

Around 3pm today, I got a phone call from Ron Carlson our company maintenance man and he said my car was run over. I was confused and thought he was joking....little did I know that when I went outside, my car was not in the same condition as when I left it. This crazy poor English speaking Slovakian/Croatian dude who wasn't even trying to go to Buffalo (missed his turn by 20 feet) ran into my car so hard that it became diagonal in the parking spot an I parked perfectly straight this morning.
So sad....car not in good condition.

What a change to my day....

Looks like it was ran into by a Monster truck.

Just another thing to do sometime when we are super busy. 1 word, UGH!

Seahawks Opener 2009: 1-0!

We saw this flag while prefunking in the car. Drinks and taco dip, woo hoo!
Look close....its Taima!

I saw Isaac our export container inspector playing in the Blue Thunder drum band!

We sat next to Mark and Cindy.

Check out TJ Housh calling a timeout from the grass. True Playa!
This was 1 of 2 Touchdowns scored by John Carlson. He had an excellent game.
We saw the flags 4 times = 4 Touchdowns. Final score 28-0!

GO HAWKS!

Kitties first day at the vet

It certainly was an interesting day at the vet. We went in to see the Doctor and ask all of the questions we have come up with in the 5 days since we brought these babies home to our house. They were not thrilled but did very well.
Mute was all over the small room that we were in. Sark for the most part was chill and behaved.

They sat very peacefully with their new Mom.

Then when we took them home after cleaning their room and sleeping in the empty bedroom upstairs, they were allowed back in their room. Much napping has occurred since!

We love how they sleep together, eat together and drink together. They are so cute and we love them even more when they are quiet!

Salmon cook off September 2009

We had our first ever Benezra sponsored cook off at our house September 10th. Cook off #1 was a grilled salmon cook off between Sommer and Nick. Here is Sommer and Nick doing their prepping....look at that giant Costco piece of fish Nick has..Sommer and Nick admiring their work before they get on the grill
Yummy!

Amy made quinoa and salad to go with the salmon.

Nick's fish was amazingly soft and delicous.Sommer's was excellent as well with great flavorful sauces!Yes, I took a lot of flack for it but I drank rum and made 1 round of drinks. I also got spatulas, turned on the grill and cleaned up afterwards. All important jobs, right?
Overall, results were a tie between Sommer and Nick and full bellies all around!

2 years!!!!!!!!!

Well it has been officially over 2 years now that we have been married. We are having fun together and are continually doing new things and having major things happen in our lives. (see below re: kitties). We went out for drinks at Palomino (Mojito for Anthony and Vanilla Sky Martini for Amy - her fave!).
Then we went to Sea Star in Bellevue for dinner and had the best halibut ever (topped with Tim's cascade potato chips!). We had our picture taken before we left - aww so cute! That's the dress Amy got engaged in just 3 years ago! And no, that's not a pager on Anthony's pant leg... that's his cell phone case... he hearts it... even tho it looks like a pager...Instead of buying gifts for each other, we opted to get eachother kittens...adorable kittens! Mute, the black and white little girl kitten....And Sark the super cute boy kitten. Look at them eat food together....so cute! If one of them goes for the water or food dish, so does the other.

New Kittens!!!!!!!!!!

Meet Mute (Black and White baby girl) and Sark (tiger tabby little boy)....they were born around June 1st, 2009 and we adopted them from Animal Talk Rescue on 65th and Roosevelt:In the carrier on the way home.....
they like sleeping on or next to each other already....good siblings.

Mute is soooooo tiny and has tons of energy!

And Sark is quiet and loves to play with his sister and loves resting too.

Surely more pictures and maybe even the first movie ever to appear on the post will happen soon now that we have little ones. We opened up the whole den for them to play after giving them just a 6' x 6' space to start for the first night. They love all the space and are so playful. First vet appointment is Saturday to get them checked out. Then we will wait a couple weeks and then let them have more room to roam in the house. We can't wait!

As most of you know, our friend Katie Flyte passed away recently from complications of the Swine Flu (H1N1). There aren't words to really talk about this loss, but some of you have asked if there is any way you can help the family. Thank you to those of you who already have, and if anyone else was wondering, the address for the Flyte Family Benevolent Fund is below.

cuz they keep it gangsta

Who has the most thugged out, kick a$$ Fantasy Football team in all of Seattle? That's right, dawg, it's D - O - double ME! ... and Steph K of the Keller Collection too of course :)

Why, you may ask, do these two lovely ladies (also known as "The Black Ladies"... don't ask...) have such a G-as-can-motha-effin'-B kind of team? I believe Ice Cube, of the Westside Connection, said it best...
"cuz they keep it gangsta!"

Fo Sho.

trofie outdadofosho keeps it real with such play-ahs as THE Ochocinco, Reggie Bush and T. O. - fo sho!

Peep dis - Fools don't be trippin - trofie outdadofosho is puttin' a trofie up on dey shelf in 2010.
