In an effort to show Xander the world, we recently took him on a short trip to Canada. Anthony had a work related function to attend (an Indian/Punjabi wedding for a friend from work), so Amy and Xander tagged along.
Xander didn't really want to go... he was pretty happy just before we left:
But nevertheless we headed up to the border, the Peach Arch to be exact...
As we approached the border itself, we checked in on the little guy and told him what what about to happen, he was about to leave the USA...
Wait, WHAT? (double click to see the full sized image/closer look)
NOOOOOOO! Take me back to AMERICA! I miss the land of the free and the home of the brave!
When we arrived the highlight of the trip for Anthony was the fact that our sick a$$ hotel had a TV installed IN the mirror of the bathroom. Strange as it was it got totally different channels than the TV in the other room... but it was still pretty cool. Amy enjoyed watching part of a Kids in the Hall episode (duh, cuz it was Canada, eh) and a Canadian comedian that was so hilarious she's sad that she never caught his name!
Finally, Xander decided it was time for us to go home...
But not before we got a picture of the crosswalk signs for J-Fam, he loves those jolly Canadian crosswalks! This one is for you, J!
We're all happy to be back, safe and sound, in the great US of A! Thanks for the cheap duty free booze, Canada. See you next time!
