Montana trip

Well in the interest of keeping everyone up to date, here is a post on when I was in Montana on business. This shot is only funny because it is the nicest hotel in Billings and it is right next to the St. Vincent De Paul, not that there is anything wrong with that.....
Yeah, skate or die, a cool skate park that I saw in Billings.

Yep, I was in Montana, saw lots of cattles. Moo!

Continental divide has lots of these moutains that flatten out on top. Weird looking, but really it is Montana so, it is expected.

Hella rocks = scenery

The hill here was cool, many different colors in this Butte mountain.

I have never seen so many casinos in my life and that includes Vegas, Reno, etc. I saw casino's attached to Quiznos, gas stations, hotels, the airport, etc.

Funny sign....Butte sounds like Butt.

This was a historic spot where Lewis and Clark started their trail or some history blah blah....look it was pretty and I needed to stretch my legs.

I sometimes forgot how close to Canada I was. Yes, it was September but it is cold as you know what in the mornings and night and I had no jacket. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!

This is what I saw most of my driving time, nothing in all directions.

This was a cool shot.....A Penguin which makes it cool enough, but this Glacier Park Inn also says that this city, Cut Bank is the coldest spot in the nation.

Insert Native American joke of some sort here.....ie: Man walks into a psychiatrists office and says Doctor I've had bad dreams the last two nights...last night I had a dream that I was a Teepee, day before that I dreamed I was a Wigwam....Doctor says, man you are two Tense (tents). Hahahahaha!

Horsey!

Mountains, Glacier National, etc.

Seemed safe enough, no one was behind me.

Look how gross my windshield looked....every time I got gas I had to clean the window....many innocent bugs died making this blog.

Normal cop, yes....funny county name "Flathead" Yes.....

GPS, makes everything so easy...btw, when I saw Highway 2, i felt like I was close to Stevens Pass/Everett. I wasn't, but i felt happy.

This bar/casino made me want to drink beer.

Only in Montana or Wyoming would this fly.
I have never seen a Mega Salvation Army, but this store was huge. Located in downtown Kalispell.

This Aero Inn is where Grandma, Grandpa and I stayed after 5th grade when we went to Banff, Lake Louise, Glacier National, etc. Our car broke down when it was 105 degrees out in late August. It was hot as hell and this was the only hotel in town where we could find a room.

This lake was friggin huge, maybe bigger than Lake Washington. For realz.
It was really pretty and reminded me of home. Boats, man I wish I was on a boat ya, going fast ya, I got a Natutical themed pashmena afghan!
Ok, that is it. Long trip. Decent drive overall with lots of land that acts as scenery. I was in Billings, Bozeman, Anaconda, Butte, Helena, Great Falls, Havre, Kalispell, Missoula and Hamilton all in 5 days.
