Almost immediately after Xander's birthday party, he fell in love with his awesome laptop from Gigi and Pappu. He still loves playing with it (as of the end of October when this post was actually written).
Mama thought Xander was just playing with his laptop on the counter in a chair like a big boy... next thing she knew... Xander was full-on ON TOP of the counter! Before she could take these photos, he struck poses like a Calvin Klein model... it was one of those times where, as a parent, you want to melt like it's the cutest thing ever (because it is) but you have to hold it together because you have to teach your kid boundaries... so challenging!
This was Xander attempting to get down like Mama demanded... he got there eventually... and then it wasn't long before we had to move all these chairs into another room so he could stop accessing the countertop so easily. And it wasn't long again after that when Xander learned that the lower chairs at the kitchen table also worked as movable stools and those are now bungie corded to the table itself. The kitchen is safe again... for now...
