Puerto Rico 2/16 in Old San Juan

So this day we went to Old San Juan. After again not finding a parking spot for a long time, we found one by the fort. A hella sketch guy said cost is $5.00. So Anthony went to get change and paid him. We were parked in a school bus zone. Seemed sketch, but whatever. Anyways, skipping forward, we finish at the fort and Jason sees a cop car, runs over to him and says What's up? The guy gave us a ticket for like $100 but Jason said we were tourists, told the cop the story and he said he would take care of it if we moved the car. Phew! Good move by J to save some skrilla. This was the cemetary right near the fort. Jason and his fear of heights conquered this by climbing on the wall and jumping around.

Amy absolutely loved this building. The color was amazing.

Here is the fort.

Yes, Amy hearts this place, lots.

Heather and Jason played in this guard house by the fort.

Heather Aise is so funny.

Giant doors protecting the fort's entrance.

Jason and Amy were tired and didn't care about the fort. So Heather and Anthony paid the $3 each to go in.

Cannons are cool, right?
Look how Gi-normous this wall was. Not bad without cranes or bulldozers. Bet it took a while to build.

We saw this cool model of the fort and Heather made a funny face.

I thought this door was sick looking. Cool shape!

Sneak attack picture of the 2 who didn't go in the fort.
The backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean made a cool looking contrast to the cool red dome.

Pretty girls! Glad they are Jason and Anthony's!

So way in the top right corner is where our car was illegally parked. Is that a huge grassy knoll or what?

Blooming Onion, eat your heart out. This crazy statue looks like a ton of onion rings stacked on top of each other.
We went shopping at Coach and Dooney and Bourke. Jason and his pink MURSE (Man Purse).

Strike a pose! That bag really goes with my eyes.

Amy and Heather ended up buying bags at Dooney and Bourke and got excellent deals since it was from their outlet store and because they were having a Red White and Blue sale.

Amy really loved the coolness of the blue-ish cobblestoned streets.

Anthony thought this was a cool shot. The different colored buildings were neat looking.

This was the last store we went into before lunch. Note Heather's expression "Need lunch NOW!"

We were intending on visiting Aqua Viva for Ceviche but it was closed except for dinner. Most places were closed except Parrot and Tio Danny Cafe. Since we went to parrot already, we decided to try a new place.....BAD DECISION! This place really sucked. Worst enchilada ever.

Once home, we all showered and went back to watching curling and dvd movies.
