That's right! The Apple Cup was held at Qwest Field this year. Doesn't matter where it is, UW likes to dominate so bring it on!
We didn't take that many pictures of the action, but there was plenty of down time to photograph the bands at halftime!
Ok, we thought the UW band was awesome, but maybe that's just the caliber of marching band that a state college produces... not so much. The WSU/WAZZU band BLOWS. Literally and figuratively. Maybe they were confused by the lack of naturally occurring tumbleweeds in this area, but we like to think they are just less coordinated and awesome than our UW band....who rocks BTW.
Check out our band with not only their superior instrument playing abilities but the simultaneous precision needed to make kick ass, and sometimes fluidly changing, formations. Granted, we thought some of them were corny this season, but we appreciate now how difficult it must be since WSU sucks at making their own logo.
