Our Hanukkah celebration started off with another of Samara and Jeremy's annual Hanukkah parties. Mama dressed Xander in his Hanukkah bodysuit and over the top he wore his Santa jacket. Uncle Jeremy won't allow Santa in his house, but we knew he'd make an exception for Xander Claus... and then we took off his jacket like he was superman under his jacket. It was cute. Samara documented the unveiling but Mama can't find the photo at this exact moment. So for now, Mama likes this picture of her and Xander, commemorating the event.
There was some confusion in the Beneezee household regarding when the holiday was starting... one bad Jew and one non-Jew just couldn't figure it all out...(sleep deprivation for 300 please Alex) so we sorta missed the first night of Hanukkah, Hanukkah eve if you will. So Xander's first night of Hanukkah (the second night of Hanukkah) was spent at Pappu and Gigi's with Selena, Jason, Samara and Jeremy. Everyone exchanged gifts and we all had fun together celebrating the festival of lights!
After that we spent the rest of Hanukkah celebrating at home, including on Christmas with Grandma, Grandpa, Samara and Jeremy. We didn't take pictures every day, but we did get some one Xander's first Hanukkah at home.
